A female perspective. 30 UNDER 30 / Women Photographers exhibits the works of female photographers from all over the world. Portraying their experiences and visions with a firm touch, innocence and sensuality often resulting in fierce and provocative gestures. Guided by their passion, this new generation of artists inspires with a purity that is free from disillusions. 30 UNDER 30 aspires in reaching above and over set standards. It is a more innovative, feminine, altruist and young approach which can be greatly appreciated with a world wide fresh view. In 2017 this project reached its 8th edition with 240 International photographers, 200.000 visits and over 500.000 online views since its creation.

Aurore
Aurore quadri di Giulia Mangoni

Aurora (Aurorae) is an elusive instant of metamorphosis. It is a moment that does not belong to the day nor to the night: anticipating a rebirth through its undefined essence. The exhibition leads us through a succession of awakenings, conducting the visitor into an experience that oscillates between ascents and descents. The Popping Club is entirely opened to the public for the first time, here, five artists, like demiurges, bring to light a plurality of worlds. The morphing physical space, the light, audio and visual installations, the sculptures and the paintings, together emanate their symbolic strength and provoking a
transformation within the visitor. If each of these works were to be a glimpse behind the veil of reality, all together they
become the steps of a mythological journey.

FRAC
Catanzaro, FRAC, installazione Gerico

During FRAC Festival, CutRise curated the site-specific section of Villa Margherita. Jerico with his floating TNT canvases filled the atmosphere with emblematic sacrality thanks to the delicay in the movement of the paintings with the wind in contrast with his emblematic, fearless brushstrokes. Andrew Iacobuccis’ Isole Sacre on the other hand brught the sea life to town with his four Boat Sails; suspended amongst the trees. Bold, energetic colours that, with a controlled tension remained sospended in time, transporting the viewer in timeless, sacred, space of comtemplation.

ORTO
Orto Botanico Roma, Gerico

a sensory experiment in the heart of Rome, where Contemporary Art, Experimental Ambient Music and Nature merge into one. The Botanical Gardens are a living Museum; an iconic place, challenged by the artists in search of their creative process. Within this protected environment, diverse forms of art have been accepted as new native species from which an immersive journey sprouts, diminishing the distance between the observer, art and nature. 8 Site-specific interventions by James
Hillman, Andrew Iacobucci, Jerico, M_O, Moneyless, Giulia Mangoni, SBAGLIATO and Gianfranco Toso.
Their works seek lightness, gravity, vertical escapes and breakouts, working in synergy alongside the protected species hosted within the Museum.
